April 15: Toad Migration Walk
0February 7, 2016 by lancasterherp

Join LHS members as we walk the roadside trails of the Overlook campus watching for American Toads migrating to their breeding grounds. Our goal: Help those toads cross the road safely! Wear warm layers, bring a flashlight or headlamp, and if we’re really lucky it will be raining (that’s when amphibians move the most), so wear a rain coat! If there’s no toads on April 17, don’t worry! We can alert you when we notice a good migration via our Toad Alert email list! Please join it by clicking the “JOIN TOAD ALERT” link on the menu bar.
