Our awesome spring herping camping trip at Gifford Pinchot State Park is coming up!!

How does it work?? Anyone is welcome to join us for an evening amphibian walk to an active wetland Friday, April 8th, around 7pm from the parking lot (off East Camping Road).

Anyone is also invited to book themselves a campsite and join us for the whole evening of campfire fun and early morning birding-herping!  Here’s where to book your reservation: DCNR Website.

We hope you can join us for peepers, wood frogs, spotted salamanders, and american toads!! This trip is a great beginner herping experience that works for any age. The best spot is within 1/4 mile walk from the parking lot at the entrance to the camp ground. Bring flashlights, dress in warm layers, and wear shoes for muddy trails!

Please post any questions to our Facebook page and we’ll get back to you.
