February 21: 15th Year of the Lancaster Herpetological Society, a Retrospective

January 19, 2020 by lancasterherp

We will be celebrating our 15th year!

15 Years of the Lancaster Herpetological Society
In February of 2005, a handful of nature fans set out to share their love of reptiles and amphibians with the world and started the Lancaster Herpetological Society. 15 years later, the Society is still going strong! This Friday, we will look at “Then and Now” of the Lancaster Herpetological Society, reminiscing on our past, and celebrating the bright future ahead of us. We are looking forward to visiting with some of our club’s earliest members, like Adam Darrenkamp, Jack Hubley, Kyle Mays, Matt Dearolf, Sam Bearinger, and a few other surprises. Jack has even offered to share some of his birds of prey with us live at the meeting!

Please come to the meeting with ideas of what you would like to see the Society do in 2020! The year is still young and there is still plenty of time for exciting activities. This could be speakers you would like to hear from, or trips that we could take.
